  The only reason I agree with it is the whole concept of this show is a game first and foremost. The weightloss aspect of it is second...
  
  I just look at these fatties being voted off and can't help but feel sorry for them as they NEED to lose weight!! But still, you can't rely on a tv show to do that for you, they have to want to do it in themselves.
  
  I thought it was funny when Kelly was saying that she was worried she wouldn't be able to keep up her weightloss because she'd have to go back to her "normal" life if she was voted off.
  What, the girl can't make decisions about what food she's going to stuff into her mouth??? Ugh!

  It is the second season of the show. So every one of them had a chance to check it out and see how it is played. Yes, there are some new elements, but it is pretty much the same show. They knew that getting their head screwed with was part of the game. This falls under "screwing with their heads".
  
  I am so glad that Laura is a blue now. Red was not going to give her what she needed to do well. P'eta wants to win, but she will look out for Laura and that is all for the good.

  The ban's expired now, but what happened was a member of the forum started a thread purely to attack me (oh noes!) and at least one other person joined in.
  That's fine, but the moderator saw the thread, saw that it was abusive, left a comment in the thread, but didn't do anything to stop further abuse.
  So when I finally saw the thread I stepped in and stood up for myself, saying nothing particularly offensive, yet I got banned while no one else did.
  I'm unbanned for now, but I suspect there's a very good chance I'll be banned again later. :)

  Yes, even though Laura's position in Blue is likely to be a bit shaky, I think she's far better off with them than with Red. I really only feel sorry for Mel of the two of them.

  Well I think Kelly was worried about how she'd find time for all the exercise and so on she needs to do, when she also has to be looking after her kids and doing her job and so on. Hopefully the lessons she learnt in the house will stop her from shoving bad things in her mouth anymore!

  How unfair! The one who started it should have gotten the ban, not you. I think you should wear your banning with a badge of pride!
  
  I saw that David from Season 1 is a mod, and he has posted on the TBL board that he will be tougher because he "wasn't going the job" as a mod. So he is probably following the letter of the law at the moment, which is not good.
  
  When I need to confirm that people with low IQs and questionable spelling and grammar really do have internet access, I go to the TBL board. There are the intelligent people in there, but the majority... they sometimes scare me with their attitudes and wilful ignorance.

  Maybe it is a bit too screwy, but they gotta do something to the contestants. I know they are on teams, but in the end, the only person they answer to is themselves. So if they can do well in one team, you would hope that they can do well in the other. I agree with feeling sorry for Mel.
  
  It does seem like a hit to the stomach to build up all that teamwork only to try to undo it. I was thinking that these people will come up against challenges like this in real life. How will they handle it? Like they used to and emotionally eat? Or will they step up and get on with it? So it is a kinda real world object lesson that is just plain weird in the context of TBL.

  Yes, I saw the post from him and have since had an email from someone else who has been banned since then, for an even more retarded reason than I was.
  I've said my goodbye and I suspect when I post a link to the latest recap tonight I'll be banned once again, since that will technically be against the rules...
  
  It's funny how people who aren't really hurting the board get banned while other people are allowed to spew forth all kinds of crap unimpeded. I can't be bothered trying to be helpful if at any time I could get banned for something silly.
  
  Yeah, the TBL forum is, at times, even worse than MOSH was in Ye Olden Times. Plenty of good people, plenty of absolute idiots.

  It's in the rules for the forum that you can't link to other sites, but everyone - including the moderator in question - has been doing it since the forum was opened a couple of weeks ago.
  It's only now that he's banning people for posting links... Without any warning at all that his first resort is the ban button, rather than editing/deleting and warning.

  Honestly I think that David has had his 15 minutes plus some! You see more of him than some of the more successful "Losers". Who I feel would have a lot more to offer as they were in the house a lot longer and are successful at goal.
  
  Lets face it we only saw him on the tv for what? 10 days??

  I'm taking a shine to P'eta and Damien has always seemed like a good bloke. And Mel is hot!
  The problem is that all three of them are likely to be eliminated so I'm trying not to get too attached anyway!

  I see a lot of Kristie because she's in the Fernwood ads that run before all the videos on the official site. ARGH!
  And a fair bit of Adro due to his Subway ads.
  Adro was around on the official site for a while but I think he got jack of it and left pretty early on.
  
  It's looking like I have no choice but to give the official forums away, since my posts aren't being approved which means no one can see what I'm saying anyway which makes it pointless! Hooray! :)

  I have to say that I like most of the people in the Blue team (except Gerard), and only Marty and Greg on the red team... oh and Mel. I really didn't like the team swapping thing, but it also had it's good point that Laura will do much better on the blue team. I think Shannan will be fantastic for her. Michelle seems to be a bit soft. I thought it was so sad that the blue team were depressed cos Mel had gone, but the red team didn't give two hoots that Laura was gone, Laura must feel like crap being shunted around the way she is, once again the outsider, for someone with really low self esteem, it's gonna be tough.

  They shouldn't be to far away if they made it close to the end ??

  My guess is around early-to-mid March. It's about 12 weeks at the mansion and if it started mid-November that should be about right.
  It's a guess, though. They may keep them more or less time depending on how events have been unfolding. Maybe someone else knows more details though?

  So just telling people where they can catch up with eps if they missed them is against the rules??? That sucks. I can see why the "no link" rule would be there for things like spam. Are your links consider spam? If it is, I can kinda see that, but for the most part, I would think it would be okay.

  I only ever posted in my own thread, or when someone had specifically said they'd missed an episode. I don't consider that spamming but it's not a question of spam/not-spam anymore, it's just any external link at all...

  Why would it be illegal?
  David is David Hilyander, from the first series of The Biggest Loser. He got given moderator powers early on because there was stacks of bad messages being left etc.
