Firstly - as a first time poster - many thanks for your commentary on all the episodes, which is very funny at times.

But my goodness - "tires"?? Isn't that a verb that says I/we are weary - not a description of a round rubber thingy that usually goes on wheels. People in Australia/UK etc usually call them "tyres" and only Merkins call them "tires".

Poor Sharif - I suppose it was inevitable he would end up with the nothing bracelet. I really hope he wins but the current goss is that Tiffany gets the crown. If that is true, she must have collaborated with Bob after they left Camp Biggest Loser as he has to be the favourite - even before we see his weigh in tomorrow night. So he must have eased up on his weight loss to allow her to overtake him.

Yes, Aussies usually spell it tyres. If I was writing for proper publication in Australia, I'd probably spell it tyres. But I prefer tires, generally.
Much as I prefer jail over gaol. Or, more accurately, I'd prefer to go to neither!

Bob would either have to slacken off considerably or get some kind of injury, yes. He ought to hit the "magic" 50% fairly easily, where Tiffany may find it difficult.
Sharif's an outside possibility but with all his excess skin he's going to struggle.

Yuki - thanks, NOT. First of all don't diss The Mythor, who is a top speller and fantastically fast typer.

And secondly, thanks ever so for spoiling the flipping FINARLEE.

Missed the episode due to blackout, so v. grateful for recap. Had said to self, prior to blackout, don't read any recaps etc until it's over as some one is bound to leak it out.... damn damn damn.

oldgirl - I haven't spoilt anything. I don't know who the winner is any more than you do. I only mentioned what the current goss is saying. And as Mythor points out, there are very good reasons why that might not be true.

So get your knickers out of their knot and relax, OK?

I read "current goss" as literal info, given the final-thing has been filmed already.

Glad you don't know the winner, as it would be somehow depressing if it was Tiff, and I am sorry if in the frustration of the moment I overeacted and was rude to you.

Suggest you take your knickers and boil up some knicker soup to sip during tomorrow night's show. (patented old girl joke)

Oldgirl, Not sure why you would be depressed if Tiff won.

She has worked as hard as anyone and did not get to the end "just on the alliance".She is the current biggest loser in the house.

I have no issues with any of the finalists winning.

Mythor, thanks for your recaps. sensationa and especially when I am travelling overseas I find the first PC
and go straight to your site to get the most accurate and unbiased ( most times lol) report. Keep well and do it again next year.

Tiff's worked hard but in order to beat Bob she'd probably have to get down into the 50s, or close to it, assuming Bob doesn't let her win.

Though I should point out that it's still theoretically possible it'll be Nathan in the Final Four. If against all probability it's him, Tiff might actually win.
Though I'm pretty sure that Bob's weight two weeks ago would have been enough to beat Nathan!

Most "experts" didn't think it would be back this year so it's hard to know for sure.
I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that they listen to the fans if it does come back next year though!

They should combine the weigh-in & elimination all the time if there's another season... not as much bloody recapping! Of course I think it should be cut down to 2-3 shows a week anyway for that reason. Is it just me or has the recapping been out of control this season? It's always been bad but I don't remember it being quite this bad.

So glad Cam's gone. It would have been a disgrace for him to end up in the final 3!

So excited for tonight! I love seeing them all revealed at the finale. I wonder if they'll walk out next to their hologrammed selves again - it'll be funny to watch Fat Tania and Fat Tania to walk out together :D

Did AJ really let the winner slip on radio? The way she's going it's like she doesn't WANT the job next year. Maybe she already knows she doesn't have it.

It's unlikely Ajay let the winner slip when it was claimed she did as she was unlikely to know the winner herself at that point.
Even if she doesn't have the job next year I very much doubt she'd deliberately let the cat out of the bag since it'd be a breach of contract and Fremantle/Ch10 lawyers would have a field day. What's more likely is that she's just assuming Bob's going to win and said that. But I've no idea, I've not even tried to look for who she said. Find out tonight who wins anyway! I can wait 10-ish more hours to know! :)

Hopefully they announce tonight that the 'nothing' bracelet was just a decoy and remove it from the game!
disapponiting the fianle doesn't start to 8.30pm with winner announced at 10pm. It's pitched at a 6.30 -7pm audience though kids con't watch finale due to time slot versus school in am. I know you can tape it, but just not the same

hi mythor, just wanted to say thanks again for the recaps. i was travelling for work the past two weeks and missed all the shows until last night (lordy they looked thin!), but as max said, whenever i could get to a computer i read your recaps : )

i met up with a friend the other day who said she is good friends with sharif's brother, and has met sharif. apparently he is absolutely lovely. one parent is from pakistan, the other is an indigenous aussie. he grew up in far north qld.
