hi shannan my names kristy im 23year old female i live in a small town in the hunter vally no one ever comes up this way things have taken a toll on my body and what i eat i hate looking into the mirror and seeing what i see it would be a dream to get to my goal body before my birthday you should start doing it as a tv side project like your own little show lol travel round helping make over people round australia but like i said no one ever comes this way it would be the best thing that has happened to me in along time i would love to get your help thankyou =)

I guess he could have a new girlfriend, but he just got married. Does he want to be Australia's answer to Tiger Woods? My guess is no.

if you are a maori get a tamoko (as us maori call them) otherswise dont get 1, as it is 1 thing to get a tamoko, its another to wear it with the respect it deserves. Shannon getting 1 is wrong as he doesnt understand the full responsibility that comes with it - getting one to "look tough, or cool" is a joke - stick to getting the stars

Shannan is extremely unlikely to read this as it is an unofficial site.
There are other support options available to your Dad than Shannan though. A good start would be getting him to have a full physical with his GP as that may open his eyes to the damage he's doing to himself.

Hi Shannan,
My name is Rene and I am wishing to get in contact with you. I need some advice on how to help my dad. He is trying hard to get fit to see my new baby sister grow up. But he just relapses at times. He gives in too easily and seems to have an extremely negative attitude towards certain things. He has just given up smoking but is becoming quite edgy about things and seems to want to argue alot more. He is still drinking and needs some tips on controlling his intake. I would love to be supportive of him but he just seems to push people away and struggles by himself.

I see this guy at my local Fitness First occasionally. I seriously cannot believe a guy whose entire life is health and fitness isn't in better shape. Not only is his body inferior to my own but he doesn't have a fraction of my strength yet I'm a 37 year old office worker who barely trains twice a week!!!

If you're going to be on a show like this surely someone a little more muscular and ripped is in order.

I am in awe of your work, you have used your knowledge of fitness to help these great contestants in the biggest loser achieve their dreams.
It is a great show and a real eye opener. Just shows that no matter how overweight someone may be, you CAN be your goal weight.
Keep up the awesome work, im a huge fan. :)
