Season 3, Episode 13: Week 2 Weigh In. Will Red fight back?

Previously on The Biggest Loser, Blue whooped Red at the weigh in, forcing them to the elimination room, where they chose to get rid of JJ.
Tonight, the fallout from the challenge plus Last Chance training causes a lot of upset faces in the Blue Team.

    I think Cosi’s starting weight was 131.3kg - only a minor error :) otherwise thanks again!

    Michelle thinks that the last chance work-out is all about losing calories? I'd say that it's more about losing water.

    I'm trying to like Sheridan. I really am. However, I didn't like the way that she slagged off Rachel's poor effort, and I couldn't help having a grin when she lost more than Rach.

    I have a horrible feeling that Rachel will go tomorrow night.

    Bet they steal some of the blues on that stupid walk!

    Nah, I reckon the girls will turf another bloke. Possibly Cosi, after his poor effort. Garry at least had a decent number.
    And yeah, I'm not sure how much good losing calories would be for Last Chance. I think it's really more for the contestant's peace of mind than actual useful weight loss.

    I reckon they will take the risk and dump Garry. All the girls on Red team want a girl, preferably themselves, to be the winner of TBL08 and would see Garry as a major threat to them. I believe they will take the chances at losing Challenges, knowing that eventually, once they get rid of the Red boys, that it is likely that the producers would balance the teams up again by moving 2 of the Blue team's boys over to Red. They would then be able to get rid of more of the boys. Whilst they have 4 girls in the team, they form a pretty formidable voting bloc.

    I don't think the primary concern of any of the girls in Red team is the weight loss, I think they are motivated by the $200k and the opportunities of being the winner of TBL08. I wouldn't trust any of them as far as I could throw them.

    Sorry to be so shallow but - Rachel, do you have a mirror? Are you vying for the position of the most physically unattractive competitor on Biggest Loser? Guessing she won't be picked up by any sponsors except maybe the hairdressing academy of how NOT to do hair? Oh dear.

    I think maybe Nicola and possibly Nicole are there for the weightloss. I don't know why Rachel is there, since she reckons she could do it at home and is always saying she'll go home.
    I think Sheridan is there for both though, absolutely.

    So the girls have a chance to get another guy out. I think Cosi is going because of the low number. In terms of weight lost, Nicole should go. 0.9??? That number sucks for regular weight loss... not just, BL weight loss.

    I don't get why the poll thinks Rachel should go. For a second week weight-in, her number was, at least, decent. Not good, but not 0.9 either. Cosi's weight loss is even worst than Rachel's. It could be that I like butch looking lesbians. ;)

    So, for my money, I think it will be either Nicole or Cosi. Cosi is my bet because less guys = more chance that a girl will go through.

    Sure Nicola is a pretty girl and will be quite attractive when she loses the weight. I think she sees herself as this seasons Fiona and will lose enough weight without making it her number 1 priority. I believe she is after the post-TBL money making opportunities and yes, she will have to lose some weight to achieve this, but she wants the 200K and the career opportunities post TBL.

    I don't think she can be trusted. She agreed with Cosi, Garry and her dear friend JJ, that she would vote as a bloc with them and remove Rachel. She and JJ apparently had a close friendship. However once voting happened, she knifed JJ in the back and voted him out and proved herself unreliable with her promises. She has since stated that she 'could never write Rachel's name on a piece of cardboard' and claims to be good friends and a roomie and loves their late night chats. We get another preview of Nicola basically stating that she has changed her mind and will be voting against what she had already agreed to.

    She has also said she will do whatever it takes to stay in the game. It is more advantageous to her to get rid of Rachel and give the Red team a better chance at Challenges and weight loss by hanging onto Garry.

    They won't vote Cosi out - yet. Garry is the more obvious target. He has a lot more weight to lose than anyone in the game. Cosi, however is the fittest of the two and has a low amount of weight to lose in comparison. They can use his strength in Challenges. I don't think at this point, either of the men will go tonight. There is a preview showing Garry as an anchor in a tug-o-war and we haven't seen that yet. Also rumour has it that Cosi finds out his fiancee is pregnant whilst he is in the House, this hasn't happened yet either. I think it will be Rachel who goes.

    If she wants the post-Loser opportunities she'll have to do well while she's in the House and not come across as too much of an evil backstabbing skank.
    I just think she's smart enough to know that nobody at her starting weight will ever win The Biggest Loser, especially not a female. So she's got to be there to lose weight primarily and if that goes well, then try and turn it to her advantage?

    I expect Rachel is being voted for simply because people don't like Rachel. :D
    It could also be because this time she manages to convince everyone to vote her out for reals this time, because she's been wanting to go since Week 1.
    I don't think it will be Nicole though. I think of the "girlpowah" girls, Sheridan would get knocked off first. Maybe. We see her being annoying but who knows what people in the house think!

    The fiancee thing could happen tonight, the tug of war seems less likely. So I guess I'm down to Cosi or Rachel.

    When someone is voted out tonight,what will happen ? There will be few bodies left with the reds.
    Do you think JJ will be invited back or will the black team be flown in ? NOW that's a good idea !!

    I reckon they'll turf Rachel just because they all believe she's not pulling her weight (I can't believe I just let a weight pun in, it was unintentional, I swear!).

    If their results this week were due to the sodium-laden tinned food, then they'll probably smash the blue team next week!

    Michelle is really pissing me off this season. Was she more likable last year? I'm sure she was.

    Oh, and, I was wondering if the black team's results were something to do with adjusting to American food? I mean even their fruit & veg, stuff like that would be different to Aussie food, you'd think. Could wreak a bit of havoc on their systems...

    Agreed on Michelle, Amy. From what we see, it looks like she is trying to do the whole Jillian type thing but failing poorly and just coming across negatively.

    I reckon the red team is the strongest but can't fufill their full potential. Gary is just a giant, with all that weight and excessive training he should drop at least 8kg a week. Cosi is just a half-wit yet the team needs him to pull them through the challenges. The girls are just tiny assets that will most likely turn on Their team members when they are in elimation room. After this happens, it will become an individual game and will have the "yellow" line once again.

    Instead of doing this, the producers should make it a lot more interesting. Like adding a surprise twist to the lowest and highest losers of the week by making them work together and no one else.

    What do you guys think they should do to spicen up this show?
