Seriously not liking Courtney or Munnalita?? that's how I will write her name? as she has rising inflections?
Courtney is going bald, ha, ha, I noticed when Jilian was training him on the football field.Ha, ha.
Is Munnalita going to throw out everyone who already has kids? I can't forget that image of her, reclining on her bed, gorging on boxes and boxes of chocolates and biscuits after her failed ivf. All the while she must know that her weight could be a large part of her infertility.
It does seem that Pati gets immunity.
Shame about Sam- my sister in law just had a DVT, she was in hospital for 2 weeks and couldn't exercise for more than a slow walk for weeks. So Sam's can't have been that bad. Sam seemed like one of the good guys.

Gah, Courtney is pissing me off more with each episode. I mean, I get the psychology behind it all - he's immature and thus can only see one way to make himself feel better about himself: by being a bitch to other people. Unfortunately, he's not on "Survivor", and that sort of attitude won't get him very far.

Alex annoyed me a little as a viewer, but he deserved to be there. I can't say the same for Courtney, and go Jillian for saying it to his face!

Yes, Alex was probably not my favourite of the Fatties, but I could never fault him for his commitment. Courtney's always bitching and moaning about something or other, so to see him orchestrate Alex's downfall was particularly galling.

I'm hoping that the asskicking Jillian gave him later in the episode will finally turn him around, but I'm worried that his poor attitude is too ingrained at this point.

Munnalita definitely knows her weight is an issue when it comes to her IVF, as she's said that her doctors have recommended she lose some weight to increase the chances of success.

And yes, as per sods' comment, nice line about Courtney! ;-D

Yeah, he wasn't my favourite either, but I'd keep a fairly annoying person who worked in over a slacker any time!

I think he's pissed Jillian off good & proper now, so if he's not broken yet, she'll keep trying *g*

Only one problem here is the suggestion that there is anything at all that could be "deep" about Courtney, he's about as shallow as you can get!

I admit that Alex was my fave. I have met him and ate at his restaurant. IL's know him quite well. He smiles with his soul (and I love that). I am sorry that he went. He didn't slack and any assertions to that is just erroneous.

Courtney... *big sigh* what can you say about him? He obviously has very low self-esteem and takes it out on other people (ie Alex). I don't like him. I hope they vote him out, but at the same time, I know he is a real person who the subject of heavy editing. Yet his comments about Alex were just so f'ing wrong that I wanted to slap him.

Jillian is always good for an asskicking. I just wished that it had been a real one rather than a metaphorical one.

Hey, miss_doobie! I still watch the show (when I am not out doing courses), but I still check in with the Recap. It usually has junk that I missed due to inattention or kids yelling. I am so grateful for a one-stop catch-up place.

I watch the show too, mostly, although I'm auditioning for Temptation in a couple of weeks, so I probably should be watching that instead. I just like the way it's all described on here... Have never watched it before I found this run down actually... Myth, you have inspired me to watch, channel 10 should thank you!

I have the elimination ep recorded but haven't watched... damn curiosity got the better of me.

I love Alex! I totally want to get a t-shirt made with a photo of him on it, his face contorted in pain, with his quote (quite possibly the best quote EVAR on this show) from the major challenge: "I DIE FOR TEAM!!!!!!!!!"

I dismissed the show out of hand in the first season, but was convinced to watch it from what other people were saying as well.

Yes, I tried at the start to give Courtney the benefit of the doubt, because it's certainly not the whole picture all the time... But as the days go on and he turns into more and more of a prick, it's hard to continue trying to like him.
He's obviously got issues, but everyone in the house does and most of them are dealing with them in a much friendlier manner.

It is a game, but at the end of the day there's no need to be mean to other people, it won't help you to win, only losing weight can do that. :-(

i'm surprised that they were even allowed to vote off the biggest loser. i'm sure that last year, only those below the yellow line could be voted off - and that was while they were still in teams, not just after the teams merged.

alex was the biggest red loser by percentage (if the calculations i read in the official forum are correct) followed by greg i think, so really the vote should have been between pati and munnalita?, and marty depending on whether there are two or three below the line.

honestly, alex having been eliminated under these circumstances puts a sour note on the whole show and makes me not want to watch it anymore. i only hope they bring back the best eliminated contestant as they did with logan harry last year, then alex could be back in with a chance.

They don't seem to offer immunity to the biggest loser at the start of the season for the Australian version, but they really should consider it for Season 3.
The yellow line didn't exist until later last year, but I'm not sure how much later it was.

I'm not real impressed with some of the red team's antics but some of the Blue team people are doing well and being good people and so on, so I'm not willing to give up on the show entirely just yet!

Also, I'm hoping someone will punch Courtney in the face, and it'd be a shame to miss that!

i seem to recall that on the first episode there were a heap of spoilers, and one was somebody pushing someone else (think they were both male).... with any luck, one was that twit courtney! or gerard. i wouldn't mind banging their heads together, they're like peas in a pod to me!

Yes, I'm hoping one of them was Courtney and that no one will step between them in time before he gets knocked on his ass!
If it was Courtney getting in the face of one of the girls I'd expect a severe beatdown from some of the older gents on the show - I don't think Marty would stand for that sort of crap, for instance.
