    Thanks!

    I missed it darn it!

    You're welcome, Dan. :)

    mancrush = best phrase ever.

i should look into oztag. i remember wanting to do that when i was wee when i found out that girls couldn't play tackle-league. hmph. i would make an awesome forward :D
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
    It's non-contact! :D
Not sure they have scrums even, no idea. It's not the same as touch footy. Looks alright though, not sure I'd bother with it personally if I was going to get back into sports.

hi guys. just read the TV Week and someone else does leave on medical grounds and they replace them with the eliminated contestant who has lost the most amount of weight. As this is next week, I think this might mean that Marty isn't the one that comes back.
  • barry · 2 years ago
Mythor - just thought i would also say thanks for a great re-cap - I find your analogies really funny and a great sum up of the episodes - I don't get to see every episode because of travelling for work, so it is a great way to catch up. Once again, thanks. and I've told a number of freinds about your site as well.
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
You're welcome, Barry! And thanks for telling people about the site, it's good to know people are finding it that useful. :)
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
I suspect Jules is leaving tomorrow night, but I wouldn't read too much into Marty only just having left - they could've been being tricky with a fake homecoming for him filmed much later.
But personally I'd rather someone like Alex or Sam get a second chance. If it's Sarah I'm sure everyone in Australia will hear the scream!

Re: Beep testing... My niece who has to do them at school informs me that women normally get about 6 or 7, and blokes 8 or 9, so Greg's going well!
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
They didn't have that stuff back when I was in school! No fair!
But yes, 7 is really good considering how heavy he still is. Good to know the numbers, thanks doobs. :)

I'm glad they didn't have them, they don't look like fun at all. I remember playing a lot of softball at school, until someone hit the teacher in the head, then we did lots and lots of theory.
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
Exercising with a goal is more fun!
Ha, theory! I don't think we ever hurt any of our teachers during PE. I didn't much care for it because we usually had to do shitty things like running laps or sprints or gymnastics. Rarely ever got to play cricket and I don't know that we ever got to play soccer, both of which I played on weekends.
Of course nowadays they probably get them all to do a lot of theory to avoid lawsuits and nevermind how many new chairs they need to buy to accomodate the kids fat asses!

    Thanks Mythor
no wit seems they are going into pairs, will team alliances and grudges be kept? ie should Pati worry?
Courtney was very annoying going on about Marty, blue didn't vote him off because he pissed them off , they voted him off as he was the best contestant and hence biggest threat challenge and weigh-in wise. Court is so childish.
  • barbara · 2 years ago
    now it seems

firstly i love your updates, i missed tonights show because of work, but.... while i was at work (well, on my break) i saw shannan!! :O i had to do a double take lol but alas did not talk to him as wouldve been awkward and i wanted to get back so i could have my lunch!!
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
Yeah the chat they had beforehand showed where their priority was - get rid of the guy who was helping them win the weigh-in every week with his motivation of their workouts!
And seeing him 2 months later I reckon they made the right choice.
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
    You're welcome, cass!

Ha, yes, "Hi Shannan, I seened you on the teevee, hyuk hyuk hyuk!" I'd guess he gets stopped on the street a bit nowadays by all kinds of people anyway, so he's probably used to meeting new and exciting people and running away as soon as politely possible. ;)

Courtney looked sh*t-scared the entire time in the elimination room, and then afterwards tried to imply that he somehow planned it that the vote would be hung and the Blue team would vote Marty out, saying “The Marty problem has been solved!”. Bah, he’s an idiot. I so wish it was him that left. He would have thrown a hissy-fit and flounced out.

Pati, I don’t understand her. Either she is very stupid, or very, very clever. Why did she give her word to two separate groups of people, then feel guilty and not want to go back on it to either of them? And then voted Munnalita, saying she didn’t trust her – nice way to win friends in your team. Now no one likes or trusts her. Idiot.

But so glad the Blue team finally voted strategically!

How great is Marty looking, outside the house? He was right; he is dangerous when angry! Does anyone else think he looks more than a little like ex-trainer Bob?
  • susanjacobs · 2 years ago
With all the spoilers and everything, I knew Pati was going to hang the vote. I also had a feeling that Munna would be her vote. BTW, I hate, hate the ads. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to watch the show if the ads are going to tell you so much.

Back to Pati, I love how she kept her word. She did keep it to a point. Unless she does something massive, she is so gone next time Red lose the weight-in.
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
It's rumoured that they're going to pairs this week, so if that happens and her and whoever she's partnered with manage to post a good number, they may be safe from elimination. At least for one more week!
  • Lesley · 2 years ago
    *SPOILER ALERT*

I have heard that in the final four there is a competitor that we haven't even seen yet !!!! Aparently he has been trained by the commando all this time !!!!
Marty also is in the final four. ...
  • Sam · 2 years ago
That would make sense - the commando
Because if it's a double elimination this week then there'd be 9 weeks not 10 because of P'eta being eliminated, so obviously thats just another bloody twist going too far
  • Mythor · 2 years ago
I don't think Jules is going to be staying much longer, so it won't really be a double elimination, just another exit due to ill health. :(
Suspect there may be a newcomer to the house by Sunday but we'll see!
  • Sam · 2 years ago
yeah well when P'eta was eliminated I thought only 1 duo would go below the yellow line, and 1 person was eliminated, but obviously not.
