  • This woman is by far the most annoying person on TV this century. Does ever sentance have to end in a high pitch??
  • I agree wtih Carl Anthony. The way she speaks does not give Australia a good representation over seas. She is way to sooky for me. Sure she wants a family and needs to lose weight, i'm going through the exact same thing but i'm not sooking and winging all the time. Just go on and do it Munnalita, WITHOUT ALL THE SOOKS. I dont see her staying in the house for much longer
  • if only marty and greg (?) had have teamed up with alex to get rid of her at the first elimination... what would have happened with a tied vote? does anyone actually know, or is it all speculation?
  • The other team chooses in the event of a tied vote!
  • last year, didn't a tied vote mean that the one who had lost the least percentage got voted out?

i also am certain that they had the yellow line thing happening before merging the teams, because harry was safe from the FAT alliance until the week that he fell below the yellow line. also, as soon as the team merged, the FAT alliance was the first to be picked off for their previous vindictiveness. that's my recollection, anyway.
  • I believe that's how it worked last year, yes, but either Ajay or one of the contestants said on the show that if the elimination was tied, other team would choose.
Of course with the way they keep stuffing with the rules, anything could happen!

They might've had the yellow line before merging, though I don't think they did, but it definitely wasn't in from the start.
I'm hoping it'll make its triumphant return for the next weigh-in!
  • Well I don't really like her? Particularly the way every sentence she says sounds like a question? It annoys me how she puts in little effort, I'm actually hoping she puts on weight at the next weigh in so she can be exposed as the lazy fraud she is.
  • i'm starting to like munnalita a bit now, probably since the last weigh in, but more since the mars bar incident.

i actually think she has a fast metabolism, judging by her weight loss. she is a skinny person trapped in a fat chocoholic's body!

i can understand where she's coming from with the two mars bars. doing that occasionally can't hurt. also, if she has a fast metabolism as i suspect, then maybe two mars bars at once is reasonable. having just one would make her want to have more sooner rather than later. on the other hand, she might develop a "tolerance" and start to "need" three, five, ten mars bars to be satisfied. in any case, i don't see anything wrong with her having a little pig out on chocolate just once a week, provided she's exercising and eating healthily all through the week. and provided her "chocoholism" isn't literally as bad as alcoholism.
  • The problem is that it's that sort of caving in to temptation that got her into her current situation in the first place. Sure, it's two Mars bars this time, but what about the next time she has the chance to have one? Or the next time? Or the next time?
She badly needs to learn to just say no.

Chocolate is fine as a treat, but two is overdoing it. Even the advertising jingle only says *A* Mars a day. ;-)
  • five is overdoing it. i don't think two is overdoing it - so long as it is on a monthly or weekly basis, and in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle. if she prefers to have two mars bars once a month instead of one mars bar twice a month, then just let her be. hell, i don't see a problem with her having the equivalent of ten mars bars once a year if she loves a good pig out! it's just a matter of consciously deciding when and how much is ok to have.

i'm speaking as a beer drinker. i feel i'm entitled to my one slab of light beer each week. when or if i start to get fat, then i'll think about cutting down.

i honestly do think that marsbarlita has a fast metabolism like me, hence her surprisingly good weight loss, and if i were eating chocolate in the quantities she had been, i could be just as fat as her. i don't eat junk very often, but when i do i like to have a generous quantity. i think munnalita is the same.
  • It's not just the calories, it's the sugars and the fats and so on.
Yes, you can compensate by doing some more exercise and no it's not too bad, but you have to consider where she is while doing this - she's in a place that is trying to get her to change the bad habits that led to her getting so fat in the first place. She's still thinking of chocolate as a "reward" she's entitled to any time she feels like it. And not only does she feel like she's entitled to a treat, she feels like she's entitled to double the recommended amount.

Why would you wait until you get fat? Have you checked with your doctor that it's not already negatively impacting your health? That's the sort of attitude the show is trying to combat, "Oh, it's fine, if I put on a few kilos it doesn't matter, I can lose it any time I want and it's not like I'm as fat as those people!"
And then one day you are and you realise how badly you've screwed things up!

If she truly had a fast metabolism then she'd be posting much better numbers, especially considering the much better diet she's been on and the mountains of exercise she's done.
Munnalita, by her own admission, used to eat junk every day. Started the day with chocolate, ate chocolate throughout the day, then ate chocolate in bed watching telly at night. That's why she needs to break out of the attitude of it being okay to eat two and everything will be fine. Because then it'll be three. And then two for lunch and dessert. And then some blocks of chocolate. And mousse. And boxes of oreos. And a bag of kitkats at work. And...
  • i don't have to worry about getting fat from beer. lack of money for much more than the bare essential foods keeps me in check. even if i were to gain weight anyway, i would certainly notice within 5kg, because i can't afford to buy new clothes.

i've been drinking a slab of light beer per week, not much more and not much less, for about the past ten years. i consciously decided back then that that is the right amount, being about the same standard drinks as women can safely have per week. there's no reason to suppose that this will turn into two slabs, three slabs, etc, when i've made that conscious decision to stick to it and have stuck to it for ten years. in fact i may have to cut down to half a slab within the next ten years as my metabolism slows down due to age. the warning signs will be obvious, as i'll start to grow out of my jeans and skirts. i'm my ideal weight now, but it would only take 5kg for my clothes to be too tight so i would know then to cut down on my beer, or be more vigilant with exercise.

similarly, i think it is entirely reasonable for the new munnalita to allow herself to pig out on chocolate at premeditated, precalculated intervals. there's nothing wrong with having double the recommended amount, if it's half as often as recommended. if she's going to have chocolate, she might as well have it in the quantity she enjoys, but do it less often to compensate. who knows, intermittant binges to which she is not accustomed might even turn her off chocolate in the end. but twice the recommended serving once per month seems to be something that she would be happy with.

i still maintain she has a high metabolism. the ridiculous amount of chocolate she was consuming would be enough to make anyone fat. her weight loss figures have been consistant, all around 3kg, and culminating in the highest of 3.6kg, so i doubt that there was waterloading associated with her 9kg loss. that kind of loss without any "cheating" is indicative of a high metabolism. she really stepped up her effort last week, whereas in previous weeks she was just cruising through without trying as hard as she could. we'll see at the next weigh in by her weight loss, if she is spurred on to really have a go at winning the final.
  • omg!!! so true her voice issss soooo annoying!!! i cant handle it but seriously i respect her achievments heaps she looks great!!!!
just please someone dove over her voice!!!
  • Are you Munnalita?
  • What do you think Channel 10 is going to do about it? They have absolutely no say in what is on MY site. So save the pathetic threats.

If you bothered to check the dates, most of the posts on this page are from LAST YEAR. It's only idiots like you who keep digging this back up to have a cry about it. :-P
  • She put herself on tv and showed a nation what she's like.
If I was going to be such a complete, i'd want someone to just shoot me,

And they're not behind her back, she's probably seen this website.

And mythor, I noticed that too, no posts for 11 months, then "proudtobechocoholic" comes to her defence.
  • Thats nice to know,

I'll have your Biggest Loser: All Stars application ready.

  • im a very proud chocoholic. and when i encountered these heart breaking comments about munnalite. i thought to myself u know what?? leave munnalita alone. she can have all the mars bars in the world if she wants. its her body and calories that she will live through in her life. and i bet that u guys are the ones really eating all the chocolate while on your diets. so before you go critising others. have a little thought. then send jayden to his room if you like. and if you have another thought. send margaret with him. P.S. i love chocolate and munnalita
  • how dare u question my authorities. does it matter if im munnalita or not?? is it really a matter of life and death?? the calories from the mars bars that u endulged quickly will always be i ur hips. so before u go asking me questions that u have no right to ask. have a little thought to yourself.

    thank you and goodbye

P.S. these mars bars that im eating while posting this comment are ssOoO delicious.
