  I was privileged enough to work with Sam. He is a very sensitive, polite and genuine person. He has a wonderful sense of humour!!! When you work with someone you tend to see all there sides with Sam what you see is what you get. He shields himself with a quietness but once he is comfortable with you, you will get warts and all. Like most people
  
  I am disgusted with comments relating to his adds, regarding Sam’s claim that he has been teased at university due to his size.   Who the hell is writing this stuff, what rock did you just crawl out of!!!
  
  How nieve are you people!!! It doesn't matter how old you are people are still judgemental at any age. We live in a very shallow society and if you don't fit the mould you are talked about!!! Teasing can come in many forms, it doesn't just stop in the school yard!!! come on, wake up to the real world, as much as we would like to believe we all mature once we are out of school I am sad to say most people are the same 10, 20, 30 years later. A leopard doesn't change it's spots just because it has matured!!!!
  and as to the "But is that what is actually happening? Or does he have other personality faults in play that are a bigger factor? It’s impossible to know just yet."
  
  The only fault Sam has, is that he has admitted he wants to live a happier and healthier lifestyle. For all his critics look hard within yourself and ask yourself if you could find that strength????
  
  All I have left to say is " GO SAM GO" you have made all that know you so proud and those who don't know you, should keep there opinions to themselves.

  I was just tossing out a theory, that's all. There have been past contestants on the show who have felt a bit hard done by, which they have attributed to their size, but then it turns out that they're actually complete douchebags, which is probably the real reason people aren't particularly enamoured of them.
  
  The people who said it "just doesn't happen" did get shot down by some other folks, but I thought it was worth mentioning since it's relevant. I certainly don't want him to turn out to be a prat, but I'm not the sort of person to not point out such things!
  
  I think you're going to find a lot of people will be sharing their opinions of a lot of the fatties on the show. That's sort of the point. If you think people are being a little harsh on Sam, wait until the season really gets going! :)

  I also was privileged to work with Sam- and i believe it was exactly that, a privilege! This gorgeous young man is one i would be so proud to parent! Far from a "douchebag"- you just wait and see!!
  
  I can confidently say there is no way Sam has "personality faults" that would bring on any teasing. I found him to be very respectful (which is almost impossible to find in young adults his age) and soooo funny, i loved the days he was rostered with me cause i knew it was going to be a good one with him around! He is a smart, hard working guy and i know good things are going to come his way, all who know him would believe he deserves it. I've no doubt all will love him as the show continues.
  
  As to anyone who thinks teasing doesn't happen in University is disconnected. I don't even want to waste any more time on the subject!
  
  Congats to Sam, i know you can do it! Can't wait for that beautiful soul to shine on the outside!! Don't forget the people who love you for who you are now, as you grow you will see they are the only ones who's comments are important.
